Eligibility:    Any player in grades pre-K through 12th. Players do not have to live in Austin to compete.  USCF membership is required to play in the rated sections. Go to www.uschess.org and click on Join/Renew.  The not rated section is not rated, but rated players can play in this section if they so desire.

Registration: Online Registration is available at http://www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1488161.  Note that active.com charges a small fee. You may mail registration form with payment if you so desire.  You may register on site from 8 am - 8:30 am at the hotel on Friday, November 23.

Rounds:  Five rounds, no elimination, play all five games. Rounds are at Game 30 time control (each side gets 30 minutes.) Round 1 pairings posted at 9 am, rest ASAP with a short lunch break.

Three Sections: K-12 Championship (rated),  K-12 Under 1000 (rated, for players rated below 1000 in the November Supplement), K-12 Not rated.

Trophies:

Entry Fee: Rated sections, $22 by 11/17 else $28.  Not Rated section, $10 by 11/17 else $17.
