The tournament will be a 10-player Round Robin, with a time control of 40/2, SD/1.

Only the winner will be seeded into the U.S. Championship.. In the event that the winner chooses not to participate in the U.S. Championship, or has already qualified for the U.S. Championship, seeding into the U.S. Championship will not pass to another player.
The winner gets a personal right to play in this year's World Junior.
